The Angel Boat – Islington’s Community Canal Boat
The Angel Boat is the working name of a charity (Angel Community Canal Boat Trust or ACCT) which operates a skippered community canal boat – Angel II of Islington – for use by local residents and community groups of all ages at a cost they can afford. From our base at City Road Lock, Islington, London we provide day trips and residential trips of up to a week.
Now onto our second purpose built canal narrow boat we have been providing this service to our local community for over 30 years.
We now have a second boat which you can hire called Long Tom.
